This is a 3-credit, pass/no-grade course. To receive a P grade, students must satisfactorily complete all weekly reaction papers and the final paper, and must also participate in class. Regular and consistent attendance is expected and required, with no more than two unexcused absences permitted. Students are also responsible for all material presented or work assigned when they are absent. Class participation can elevate a borderline grade.
